Meduseld means Mead Hall in Old English. The mead hall at Meduseld Meadery is an inviting destination where Lancaster natives and visitors alike can enjoy themselves while imbibing in the oldest alcoholic beverage in the world. Traditionally, a mead hall served as the nucleus of the community where oaths were spoken and toasted with a horn of mead in hand. Games such as Axe Throwing were both sport and training at the same time...come try your hand. Meduseld also sells drinking horns, T-Shirts, other drink-ware and bottles of mead to go.
