Primanti Bros. Restaurant & Bar was all started by Joe Primanti operating a small sandwich cart during the Great Depressing in Pittsburgh's now historic strip. Thanks to a truck driver with a load of potatoes & not knowing if they were frozen or not, Joe fried some up & tossed them on a sandwich & it was an instant hit & the creation of the Almost Famous Sandwich.
